Ark Animal Sanctuary is a registered 501(c)(3) non profit organization. We receive no govt/town funding. All the money we receive is from our generous supporters via donations, fundraisers and grants. Your contributions are tax-deductible.
All our workers are volunteers, no one draws a salary. All the money we receive goes towards the care of the animals at our rescue.

The mission of The Ark Animal Sanctuary is to rescue and provide food, shelter, medical assistance, love and compassion to any animal in need, regardless of age and/or medical condition that cannot otherwise be placed with a contracted facility.
The Ark is a no-kill organization. Euthanasia is only ever considered when a veterinarian recommends that it is in the best interest of the animal and there is no other option.
We will take full responsibility of every animal placed with us until they find their new loving forever homes. Our belief is every animal's life is meaningful and they all deserve loving homes.
